By using PokemonTeamBuilders.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The tool is free, needs no account, and is offered as it stands.

PokemonTeamBuilders.com is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon, the Pokémon character names, and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. Game data and sprites appear here for reference and commentary, and remain the property of those owners. Everything we wrote ourselves, meaning the site's own text, layout, and code, belongs to us.

No guarantee that the numbers are right

The damage calculator, coverage analysis, and usage figures are built from public data sets and are tested against a reference implementation, but no calculator matches every situation a real battle can produce. Mechanics change between games and patches, our data can lag behind a release, and a set you paste in may be one the games would not allow.

Treat what you see here as a planning aid rather than a promise. Decisions you make in a match, a tournament, or anywhere else are your own, and we are not responsible for how they turn out.

Fair use of the site

Use the site for planning teams and learning the mechanics. Do not try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, or republish its data files as though they were your own service. Linking to any page here is welcome and needs no permission.

Your teams and your browser

Teams live in your browser's local storage, not on a server of ours. Clearing your browser data, switching devices, or using private browsing will lose them, and we cannot recover them for you because we never had them. Export anything you care about as Showdown text or a share link. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

Some pages link to outside resources such as data sources and community sites. We do not control those and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Availability and changes

The site may be unavailable at times, and features may change or be withdrawn without notice. We may update these terms; when we do, the date at the top of this page changes, and continuing to use the site means you accept the revised version.

To the extent the law allows, the site is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising out of using it or being unable to use it. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
