About PokemonTeamBuilders

Most Pokémon team tools are either type-chart calculators that ignore your actual moves, or competitive suites that assume you already know what a 252/4/252 spread is. This site is the middle both audiences deserve: a team builder with real depth (EVs, IVs, natures, items, Tera, a proper damage calculator) that explains its analysis in plain English.

Three things guided the build: analysis should use your actual movesets, not just your Pokémon's types; the math must be exactly right, so the damage engine is the same open-source library behind the Showdown calculator, validated by our test suite; and everything must genuinely work on a phone, because that's where most people plan their teams.

The site is fully static, loads only the data each page needs, shows no ads above the tools, and stores your teams in your own browser. Competitive usage data refreshes monthly from public Smogon statistics; every data source is credited on the attribution page.

This is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company. Found a bug or wrong number? Tell us and it gets fixed: the whole point is being the tool you can trust.
